Οσκαρ 2012 - Οι υποψηφιότητες

Ντέρμπι μεταξύ Hugo και Artist έκρυβε η ανακοίνωση των υποψηφιότητων των Όσκαρ καθώς και μικρές εκπλήξεις σε αρκετές κατηγορίες.
Η ταινία του Μάρτιν Σκορτσέζε, που θα προβληθεί στην Ελλάδα τον Φεβρουάριο του 2012, προηγείται με βραχεία κεφαλή και 11 υποψηφιότητες και είναι η 4η ταινία 3D που φτάνει τόσο ψηλά στα Όσκαρ.

Ακολουθεί το Artist ακολουθεί με 10 υποψηφιότητες. Η ταινία του Μισέλ Χαζαναβίσιους έγραψε ήδη ιστορία αφού είναι η πρώτη βωβή ταινία υποψήφια για Όσκαρ καλύτερης ταινίας από το 1928 (το Patriot του Έρνστ Λιουμπιτς ήταν η τελευταία αντίστοιχη). Αίσθηση προκαλεί η παρουσία του Τέρενς Μάλικ και του Δέντρου της Ζωής στις κατηγορίες καλύτερης ταινίας, σκηνοθεσίας και φωτογραφίας, όπως επίσης και οι υποψηφιότητες του Εξαιρετικά Δυνατά & Απίστευτα Κοντά για καλύτερη ταινία και β ανδρικό (Μαξ Φον Σύντοφ). Ο Γούντι Άλεν έχει αρκετές πιθανότητες για μια διάκριση αφού το Μεσάνυχτα στο Παρίσι δίνει το παρόν σε 3 κατηγορίες (ταινίας, σκηνοθεσίας και σεναρίου) όμως πιο ενδιαφέρον στοίχημα μάλλον θα είναι αν ο εκκεντρικός δημιουργός θα δώσει το παρόν στα Όσκαρ ή όχι.

Στα αξιοσημείωτα των φετινών Όσκαρ προσέξτε την Πίνα του Βιμ Βέντερς, το πρώτο 3D ντοκιμαντέρ υποψήφιο για Όσκαρ και το ιρανικό Ένας Χωρισμός το οποίο εκτός από την ξενόγλωσση κατηγορία δίνει το παρόν και στα καλύτερα σενάρια της χρονιάς. Τέλος την Μέριλ Στριπ, που χάρη στην Σιδηρά Κυρία έφτασε αισίως στην καριέρα της τις 17 υποψηφιοτητες (τις περισσότερες από κάθε άλλο ηθοποιό) ενώ ο σπουδαίος συνθέτης Τζον Γουίλιαμς με την φετινή διπλή παρουσία του χάρη στις συνθέσεις του για τα Περιπετείες του Τεν Τεν και Άλογο του Πολέμου έφτασε τις 47 υποψηφιοτητες για Όσκαρ μουσικής/ τραγουδιού είναι ο ρεκορντμαν του θεσμού (μετά τις 59 του Γουολτ Ντίσνει). Κρύο ανέκδοτο η επιλογή της Ακαδημίας να επιλέξει μόλις 2 τραγούδια για την αντίστοιχη κατηγορία.

Κλείνοντας το post αξίζει μια αναφορά και σε αυτούς που η Ακαδημία αγνόησε επιδεικτικά από τα φετινά Όσκαρ. Ονόματα όπως ο Ραϊαν Γκόσλινγκ (που αν μη τι άλλο φέτος ήταν η χρονιά του), ο Λενάρντο Ντι Κάπριο (για άλλη μια φορά εκτός μαχης), ο Ντεϊβιντ Φίντσερ, παρά την εξαίρετη σκηνοθεσία του για το Κορίτσι με το Τατουάζ, ο Άλμπερτ Μπρουκς για το Drive ειναι μερικά μόνο από τα ονόματα που λείπουν από την φετινή λίστα των Όσκαρ.

Τα Όσκαρ θα απονεμηθούν σε ειδική τελετή στις 26 Φεβρουαρίου 2012 στο Λος Άντζελες με οικοδεσπότη της βραδιάς μια εμβληματική μορφή του θεσμού, τον απολαυστικό Μπίλι Κρίσταλ.
