NBR και NYFCC ανοίγουν την φετινή οσκαρική κούρσα!

Και ενώ η ανεπίσημη κούρσα των Όσκαρ έχει ήδη ξεκινήσει με τις απονομές των κριτικών ενώσεων της Νέας Υόρκης και του National Board of Review μια "κόντρα" με ενδιαφέρουσα σημειολογία κάνει την εμφάνιση της.
Ο λόγος για τους 2 νικητές που έβγαλαν οι δύο συγκεκριμένες κριτικές ενώσεις δηλ. το Artist και το Hugo. Δεν έχω δει τις ταινίες ακόμα καθώς το Artist προβάλλεται σε διανομή στις 22 Δεκεμβρίου ενώ για το Hugo θα περιμένουμε λίγο περισσότερο, μέχρι το Φεβρουάριο του 2012. Όμως η σημειολογία όπως είπα είναι ενδιαφέρουσα καθώς και οι δύο ταινίες αναφέρονται στην ιστορία του κινηματογράφου. Στο Artist έχουμε μια εξαιρετική ιστορία, που μας μεταφέρει στο λαμπρό Χόλυγουντ της εποχής του βωβού και ασπρόμαυρου κινηματογράφου και είναι μια ταινία βωβή και ασπρόμαυρη! Αντίθετα στο Hugo ο Μάρτιν Σκορτσέζε αποτίει φόρο τιμής σε έναν από τους πρωτεργάτες της έβδομης τέχνης, τον Ζορζ Μελιές, χρησιμοποιόντας την τεχνολογία και τα ποιοτικά τεχνικά στάνταρ του 2011, δηλ. το 3D! Αν η φετινή συζήτηση αφορά λοιπόν τον ίδιο τον κινηματογράφο θα έχει πολύ μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον για τους ίδιους τους ανθρώπους του κινηματογράφου.
Στα τυπικά της ιστορίας η New York Film Critics Circle άνοιξε τον φετινό οσκαρικό χορό και απένειμε τα βραβεία της, τα οποία πάνε ως εξής:

Best Nonfiction Film: Cave of Forgotten Dreams
Best First Feature: Margin Call
